Grilled peach halves with a honey and cinnamon mascarpone

Cooking the peach halves on the barbeque grill allows the sugars to caramelise and produce a wonderful flavour. The mascarpone married with the honey and cinnamon flavours are a great compliment.

Serves 4

Ingredients

4 peach halves – pre preserved are ideal
150ml mascarpone
2 Tbsp runny honey
¼ - ½ Tspn cinnamon powder
Sprigs of fresh mint

Method

To a moderate grill add the peach halves and cook until coloured and cooked. Try get even branding to the peaches when cooking them. Combine the mascarpone with the honey and the cinnamon powder. Serve with the hot peach halves with sprigs of mint for garnish.
